Lilyfield is a Beautiful area, close to Balmain for shopping and Restaurants as well as Leichhardt and Sydney CBD, (4km).
The light rail service goes from Lilyfield to The Fish markets, Casino, Darling Harbour, China town and Central train station.
There are buses very close by as well as what is know as the "Bay Run" for those that would like a decent run/walk or stroll.
Every Saturday there is a
farmers market almost across the road, They are famous for Bacon and egg
rolls, fresh flowers and very tasty organic produce.
Speaking of tasty organic produce ....... you can cook up a storm in
the new kitchen with SMEG appliances, saucepans, fridge/freezer and
microwave.
